Here is how Trainman app will power Adani’s new venture
No, Adani Group is not going to challenge Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a public-sector undertaking, by buying Trainman, an online ticket-booking and information platform. IRCTC has clarified that Trainman is just one of more than two dozen of its authorised business-to-customer (B2C) partners. Adani Digital Labs, which is a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has announced through an exchange filing that it has acquired Trainman by signing a share-purchase agreement and acquiring a 100 per cent stake in the online platform.
