Helicopter crashes near Twin Cities suburb airport, killing all on board; FAA and NTSB investigating

A tragic helicopter crash occurred Saturday afternoon(September 6) near Airlake Airport in Lakeville, Minnesota. Authorities confirmed there were no survivors. The Robinson R66 helicopter went down around 2:45 pm local time in a rural area west of the airport, approximately 25 miles south of Minneapolis. Emergency responders found the wreckage in the area. Upon arrival, they confirmed there were no survivors, and no injuries were reported on the ground.
