HC directs Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secy to assess quality of construction works

For the creation of better infrastructure and bringing about transparency in the system, Chief Justice (Acting) Rajesh Bindal today directed the Chief Secretary, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, to refer some cases for test audit to the Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, for assessing the quality of construction works being executed.

“The estimated cost of project calculated by the department should also be gone into by the institute. Besides, any other related matter can also be referred by the Chief Secretary to the institute,” Justice Bindal asserted.
