Gujarat: 24×7 helplines for supply glitches

The state government on Thursday announced roundthe-clock helplines 1070 and 079 23251900 to solve issues relating to availability of basic necessities during lockdown. Secretary to Chief Minister Ashwini Kumar said, “Government is taking all necessary steps to ensure smooth supply of necessary goods to for the citizens. The helpline number 1070 and 079 23251900 has been started to ensure citizens get all the necessary information over the phone.” He added, “As many as 59,000 quintals of vegetables were received at 68 vegetable markets across the state on Thursday. These include 13655 quintal potatoes, 4350 quintal onions, 6900 quintal tomatoes and 34000 quintal green vegetables.”
