Greenko Budhil Tariff Petition

After 9 months (23.09.2015) of ordering provisional tariff as high as Rs 4 per unit (prior to this order, Greenko used to sell power from the same plant at Rs 2.42 per unit) from Greenko Budhil’s 70 MW hydro power plant in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) is now scouting for a consultant who will get into the costing of the project. This new process has been initiated to delay the fixation of final tariff order so that Greenko could continue enjoying high tariff and is contrary to what UERC had stated “Judgment Reserved” in its order dated 07.06.2016.
