Great news for Mumbaikars! Indian Railways likely to introduce Special train to visit Ayodhya next year – Check routes and more

Good news for Mumbaikars! The Ministry of Railways is likely to introduce a train for the travellers to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony will be held at the newly constructed temple on January 22, 2024. It is being expected that the new train will be launched after January 24 next year.

Currently, there are no direct train services connecting the two cities. A new special train is being introduced for a dedicated journey, departing from Dadar railway station with a focus on the pilgrimage to Lord Ram. Ayodhya railway station falls under the jurisdiction of Northern Railway’s Lucknow Division.
