Govt ties up with Denmark for power, groundwater recharge from stubble
The Delhi Government in collaboration with Denmark will explore the methods of power generation and groundwater recharge from stubble in Delhi, said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after meeting with the Ambassador of Denmark. A presentation regarding the matter was also given by the experts led by the Ambassador of Denmark to CM.
The delegation also apprised the CM of modern technologies for recharging groundwater through rainwater and generating power from paddy stubble that can be put to use in Delhi.
Addressing the media, Kejriwal said that Delhi government is working on a war-footing to provide 24×7 water supply to every household of Delhi. We are keen to implement new solutions to augment our water supply capacity. “The state government will soon implement state-of-the-art solutions to enhance the groundwater level and extraction infrastructure.
