Govt receives interests from 1,400 people for coal sector investment in 15 days: MoS Finance Anurag Singh Thakur

The government has seen interest from over 1,400 people in terms of investment in the country’s coal sector within the last 15 days, according to minister of state for finance, Anurag Singh Thakur.

“If you look at the coal sector also…more than 1,400 people have requested or shown their interest in the last 15 days, which is a great thing. I think it will bring down our imports by more than 60 per centin the coal sector,” Thakur said.
