Govt nudging firms towards EV charging interoperability

Government officials, especially from the Ministry of Power, have been regularly consulting with firms in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem to push interoperability between battery charging standards, senior executives in the EV industry said.

These discussions, which have been ongoing for the past few months, have yet to result in rules or policies related to fast-charging facilities.
