Govt not to cancel coal block allocation to Rajasthan despite demand from Chattisgarh: Joshi

Union coal minister Pralhad Joshi on Thursday said that the Chhattisgarh government has requested for cancellation of the allocation of coal blocks to Rajasthan but the government has refused to do so. He said that he has spoken to Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan chief ministers and is looking forward to resolving the issue and getting the mining activities resumed so that Rajasthan continues to get 11 rakes of coal from there.
