Govt approves Rs 17.5 cr projects to spruce up Delhi before G-20 meet

Continuing with its efforts to spruce up Delhi before G20 meet in March, the Delhi Government on Tuesday approved Rs 17.5 crore projects entailing redevelopment of Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg and Ring Road around ITPO Complex, ensuring greenery by planting trees besides beautification of footpath and central verge. Advanced technologies will be used for the purpose to not only strengthen but also reduce congestion on city roads for smooth traffic flow.
