Government suspends DGCA official Anil Gill with immediate effect

The government on Wednesday suspended DGCA official Anil Gill with immediate effect. This action follows the aviation regulator’s consideration of initiating disciplinary proceedings against him based on allegations of corruption. In response to the corruption charges, a preliminary inquiry into the matter has been concluded, and the report was recently submitted to the Civil Aviation Ministry.
