The government today announced that they are starting limited number of flights between select destinations in the US, UK, France, Germany and countries in the UAE, as part of its attempt to restart international flights.
“We have completed agreement with the US, UK, France and the UAE. Negotiations with Germany are in the final stage. Also, there are countries that are interested in restarting flights. We are allowing airlines to restart flights in a limited environment till normal international flights restart,” Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri told reporters today.
Puri added that these flights under bubbles will also be reviewed from time and again and necessary changes will be carried out in the scheme, as and when required.
