Goods train stalls near Badlapur station, rail operations affected

KALYAN: The train services on Central railway between UP Karjat-Badlapur section were affected after a goods train stalled due to engine failure on Up Line near Badlapur railway station on Monday morning.

The incident caused major inconvenience to commuters from route going towards offices in Mumbai.

According to railway officials, UP suburban local trains and UP mail express traffic affected between UP Karjat-Badlapur section and rest other routes are running smoothly.

Assisting engine was sent to Badlapur to clear stalled goods train.
