GoAir announces new domestic, international flights

Low-cost carrier GoAir today announced an expansion of its operations with five new international services to the Gulf region, two to Bangkok and eight new domestic services.

The carrier, which in May reported 11.1% of the domestic market share, is expanding its India operations from Hyderabad with eight new flights covering cities like Cochin, Chennai, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Patna.

Travelers now have the opportunity to explore the affordable travel experience that GoAir is acknowledged with, an official statement from the company said. It said, quoting managing director Jeh Wadia, that the airline has embarked on an aggressive expansion plan.
