Go First crisis results in higher airfare and employees face uncertain times

From a surge in airfares, to rattled aircraft lessors, and thousands of employees staring at an uncertain future, May has been a month of consistent turbulence following the crash of Go First and the subsequent suspension of flights from 3rd May.

However, people are working to revive the budget airline, and with that, the government and other stakeholders, are expecting Go First to restart its operations at the earliest. Earlier this week, senior executives of Go First discussed the revival plans with senior officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

A section of Go First staff are optimistic about restarting of operations,
