Go First cancels all flights till May 26 due to ‘operational reasons’

Go First on Wednesday cancelled all flights till May 26 due to “operational reasons”. The low cost airline had earlier planned to restart flights by May 24.

“Due to operational reasons, Go First flights until 26th May 2023 are cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and request customers to visit,” the airline said in a statement.

The Wadias-owned Go First filed for voluntary insolvency proceedings on May 3. While the bankruptcy court had put a moratorium on the low-cost airline’s assets, including arrival and departure slots at airports, the government had allocated them as an interim measure till May 23, the date till when Go First had earlier announced suspension of flights.
