GMDA to build model road in Gurugram

Out to revamp the city’s road infrastructure, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will build a model road between Bakhtawar Chowk and Mayfield Garden. The road will serve template for new roads and revamping of old roads taking a cue from the world’s best roads. It will be having all facilities from a cycle track to pedestrian lanes. The GMDA also plans about 800 km of cycle tracks in the city, which will be built on the model road by 2041.
