Gita Mahotsav nears, major Kurukshetra roads not ready
Dates for the international Gita Mahotsav have been already announced, but the city roads seem to be not ready for the major event.
The six-laning work on the Pipli-Kurukshetra university road, started in 2018, is still on and it will remain a cause for concern for the authorities as the same stretch is the main road leading towards the Brahma Sarovar, where the mahotsav will be celebrated from December 2-19. Even after 33 months, just 50 per cent work of the six-laning of the Pipli-Kurukshetra University road project has been completed.
