GHMC: Will generate power to curb stench from dump

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner Lokesh Kumar on Monday told the Telangana High Court that the GHMC is working to mitigate the woes of residents around Jawaharnagar dump yard, who are falling sick on account of the stench emanating from the yard.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan of Telangana high court took up the issue as a PIL after coming to know of the plight of people in localities such as Sainikpuri, Kapra and Yapral.
