Gautam Adani reiterates commitment to Mumbai’s development
Indian billionaire Gautam Adani in his shareholder speech on Tuesday reiterated his commitment towards Mumbai’s development. He said the Navi Mumbai airport project was on schedule and would start its operations by December 2024.
Navi Mumbai International Airport project is proposed to be developed in multiple phases having a total capacity of 60 million passengers per annum. In the initial phase, capacity of 20 million passengers per annum and 800,000 tons per annum of cargo handling capacity is being planned, ET reported earlier. The upcoming airport will address the capacity constraints at Chhatrapati Maharaj International Airport located at Mumbai.
