GAIL shares rise 0.31% as Sensex climbs
Shares of the GAIL NSE -0.28 % (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 144.1 on BSE at 12:07PM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.31 per cent from previous close.
The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 124.4 and a high of Rs 171.35.
Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.
A total of 286,323 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:07PM (IST).
The stock of GAIL (India) Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 64052.56 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 6.82, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.13. Return on equity (ROE) was at 11.53 per cent, according to exchange data.
