GAIL shares drop 2.72% as Sensex falls
Shares of GAIL (India) Ltd. traded 2.72 per cent down at Rs 98.25 at 12:40PM (IST) on Friday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 1062.31 points to 59142.75.
The scrip had closed at Rs 101.0 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 115.63 and 52-week low of Rs 83.0, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 12:40PM (IST) stood at 1730835 shares with a turnover of Rs 17.24 crore.
At the current price, shares of the company traded at 5.63 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 17.95 per share and 1.08 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.
