GAIL Q3 Results: Profit slumps 93% YoY to Rs 246 crore on supply hit; stock cracks 4%
GAIL NSE 2.53 % (India) Ltd, the country’s largest gas distributor, reported an almost 93% slump in quarterly profit on Monday, hit by lower gas sales due to supply disruptions.
The state-owned gas company’s standalone profit tumbled to Rs 246 crore ($30.14 million) in the quarter ending Dec. 31, from Rs 3288 crore a year earlier.
