GAIL, Greater Bengaluru Authority ink pact to produce gas from wet waste

Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) and Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) have signed an agreement to produce gas from 500 tonnes of wet waste generated daily in the city.
The memorandum of understanding was inked at Vidhana Soudha Thursday by GBA chief commissioner Maheshwar Rao and GAIL executive director, SN Yadav.
