Gadkari and Yogi inaugurate, lay foundations of Rs 10K cr projects
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Monday, inaugurated as well as laid foundation stones of 18 projects worth Rs 10,000 crore, which will provide excellent road connectivity in several districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, including Gorakhpur.
A total of six National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) projects worth Rs 810 crore were inaugurated whereas foundation stones of another 12 NHAI projects worth around Rs 9,200 crore were laid by the Union minister and the UP chief minister at a formal ceremony held at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Park.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on the occasion and noted that strong infrastructure development was expanding the state’s potential for significant investment.
