G-20 Summit: Jharkhand’s chance to shine

Jharkhand is going to host a G-20 meeting in the first week of March. Preparations are in full swing to welcome representatives from all member countries to the capital city of Ranchi. The G20 meeting will also provide new impetus to the immense possibilities of development in Jharkhand.

G-20 is a group of countries in which 60 percent of the world’s population resides, and it contributes about 80 percent to the global economy. India’s presidency of such a prestigious group is going to be a momentous event in the country’s history. Prime Minister Modi has described India’s G-20 presidency as inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented.
