New Delhi: The supply of fuel by state-owned CIL to the power sector registered an increase of 6.2 per cent to 42.58 million tonnes in February.
The development assumes significance as Coal India LtdNSE -3.22 % (CIL), which accounts for over 80 per cent of domestic coal output, has ample availability of dry stock.
In February 2019, CIL supplied 40.10 million tonnes (MT) to the power sector, according to the recent government data.
