Fuel prices up again; Petrol in Mumbai breaches Rs 105/litre-mark

After two days of respite, fuel prices rose again on Friday, now breaching the Rs 100/litre-mark in eight state capitals.

The fresh hike took the rate of petrol to Rs 99.16 per litre in Delhi and diesel to Rs 89.18. In Mumbai, petrol breached the Rs 105-mark, another psychological mark, and now costs Rs 105.24 per litre, with diesel priced at Rs 96.72 per litre.
