French firm Total SA invests Rs 3,707 crore to form JV with Adani Group

MUMBAI: French energy major Total SA has invested around Rs 3,707 crore for 50% partnership with Adani Green Energy to form a joint venture that will house 2.148 gigawatts of operating solar power projects across 11 states in India, said a joint statement.

On February 6, the billionaire Gautam Adani-led Adani Green Energy had entered into a pact with Total to invest in 50% stake and other instruments in a solar power JV that would house operating solar power projects of the former.
