Four Italians wanted for trespassing into Mumbai Metro depot arrested

The Mumbai police Tuesday arrested four Italians who trespassed into the Mumbai Metro depot premises in Charkop last month in a bid to deface the Metro coaches.

The men were produced before a magistrate court and remanded in police custody for further probe.

After the botched attempt in Mumbai, the foreign nationals had gone to Ahmedabad in Gujarat and entered the Metro rail premises where they sprayed graffiti on two coaches Friday last week. They were nabbed on Sunday by the local Crime Branch and sent to judicial custody by an Ahmedabad court.
