Foundation stone for Kolar 6-lane project on Oct 29
The Bhumi Pujan of the Kolar Six Lane Project will be performed by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on October 29. This is the city’s first cement concrete six lane project, which will be 11Km long at a total cost of Rs 233 crore. Dividers, lighting, footpaths, hi-tech traffic monitor system, CCTV cameras etc. will be part of this six lane. This will neither obstruct the traffic nor cause inconvenience to the people. The project is to be completed within 12 months.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that he held a meeting of the officials regarding the issues related to Bhoomi Pujan and Six lane. Alternate routes are being prepared for ease of traffic during the construction at some places before Bhoomi Pujan.
