Forgotten announcement: Train bypasses passengers waiting at Karnataka’s Kalaburagi station

KALABURAGI: In a strange incident, a train bypassed passengers waiting on platform no. 1 at Kalaburagi station on Sunday morning. Railway authorities admitted that the announcement was forgotten.

Uday Baligar, Rehman Patel and other passengers, who had booked their tickets to Secunderabad, said that they were waiting at platform no.
1, where train passes through regularly from 5.45am.

“We were watching the display where train’s arrival was 6.32am but there was no display of platform number. Later, it was rescheduled to 6.42 am without displaying the platform number. By 6.45am, the train was no longer listed on the electronic display. When we inquired with the staff, they asserted that it had passed through another platform,” said the passengers.
