For Saudi Arabia prince’s refinery, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has got bribes: Sanjay Raut

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday accused some Union ministers, CM Eknath Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis of receiving huge kickbacks for the proposed petrochemical refinery at Barsu-Solgaon in Ratnagiri.

“This refinery is of a prince from Saudi Arabia… our people who are standing in line supporting it… Union ministers, Maharashtra’s chief minister and deputy CM have already received huge kickbacks,” said Raut.

Taking on allegations of “outsiders”, Raut said: “In the farmers’ protests also, in Delhi, farmers from all over the country went. Were these people from Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sudan or from Mauritius? They were locals… I don’t know from which angle Devendra Fadnavis is looking at the Barsu protests.”
