Flying domestic? Self-baggage drop facility to reduce waiting time at Delhi airport’s Terminal-3 by 20 minutes
NEW DELHI: Domestic flyers at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport’s Terminal-3 can now use the self-baggage drop facility, which is likely to reduce their wait time by 15-20 minutes.
Passengers travelling by IndiGo flights will be currently able to use the facility, which was introduced on Monday, and IGIA operator Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said five more airlines — Air India, Vistara, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and British Airways — were likely to allow their domestic flyers to use the same in the near future. The service will be available for international flyers post-mandatory approvals.
