Flyer on IndiGo’s Chennai-Coimbatore flight tests positive for corona; crew grounded for 14 days
NEW DELHI: A person who flew from Chennai to Coimbatore on Monday (May 25) tested positive for coronavirus on arrival. The passenger had flown IndiGo flight 6E-381 and is now undergoing treatment under quarantine there.
The DGCA is examining if IndiGo followed all protocol that needs to be observed, like deep cleaning of aircraft after a confirmed case, and has sought a detailed report from the airline.
