For the air travellors, Wednesday was the day of chaos as conflicting information floated on the social media platforms about the government deciding to close down Dehradun airport, Jollygrant after Pakistan Air Force planes intruded Indian air space in Rajauri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Passengers faced problems as many operators cancelled their flights. The operators which cancelled their flights on the day included Indigo, Spicejet and Jet Airways.
Throughout the day, the passengers were seen inquiring into the status of their flights from the officials. “My flight scheduled at 4 pm for Hyderabad has been cancelled. Though it is inconvenient, I am ready to face problems for the sake of the country,’’ said Surya Prakash of Hyderabad.
