Flight services resume at Raipur

Amid the lockdown-4, domestic flight services to Chhattisgarh began on Monday with the arrival of the first flight from Delhi at 9 am to Raipur’s Swami Vivekananda Airport.

The first flight, of Indigo 2757, carried 82 passengers as part of the social distancing guidelines issued for operating the services.

Airport Director Rakesh Sahay said the flight took off to Delhi at 9.30 am with 136 passengers.

The Hyderabad flight arrived with 41 passengers at 11 am and the return flight had 65 passengers. The third flight from Bengaluru landed at Raipur at 3.12 pm with 153 passengers and left for the Karnataka capital at 4.35 hours with 47 passengers, he said.

Sahay said: “Each passenger who landed was asked to register and undergo all the procedures of health screening at the outlets established by the Chhattisgarh government. Details of each passenger were registered.”
