Flight disruptions in northern states, several flights delayed at Delhi airport due to fog – Check details here

As winter tightened its grip on the northern regions of India, the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi faced disruptions in flight operations due to low visibility caused by dense fog. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the national capital witnessed ‘very dense’ to ‘dense fog’ in various parts of the city in the morning.

Delhi has been experiencing ‘cold day’ conditions for the past few days with the minimum temperature settling at 9.4 degrees Celsius on Friday amidst inclement weather. The adverse weather conditions have become a common challenge during the winter season, leading to delays for both domestic and international flights.
