Flight cancellations leave travellers disappointed in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: Abrupt cancellation of 74 flights — comprising both arrivals and departures — led to confusion and disappointment among many travellers as the international airport in Bengaluru reopened for passenger traffic on Monday after more than two months. Apart from this, however, operations were smooth.
Airlines cancelled the schedules after the civil aviation ministry slashed the previously approved number of trips on Sunday evening, following objections from a few states over the resumption of flight services.
