‘Fleet Card-Fuel on Move’ by IAF for speedy fuel supply

With the objective of ensuring speedy supply of fuel to sustain operational tempo, IAF in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)has introduced a ‘Fleet Card – Fuel on Move’ for its varied fleet of vehicles. Describing it as a leap forward in fuel supply chain management, officials said here this innovative initiative provides a paradigm shift to the logistics management of fuel. Availability of ‘Fleet Card’ will permit the IAF convoy to refuel at any IOCL fuel stations, increasing the pace of movement and reducing the lead time for readiness at operational locations across the nation.
