Finish Delhi’s 3rd ring road by 2023, make delayed projects list: PM Modi
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday directed the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to complete the second phase of Urban Extension Road (UER-II) in Delhi by August 15, 2023, which is coming up as a third Ring Road.
Flagging the issue of delay in completion of major infrastructure projects, he also directed the cabinet secretary to prepare “dossiers” of such works within one week and identify the officers and agencies responsible for the delays, government officials said.
The PM was chairing the 37th PRAGATI meeting, the ICT based platform for timely implementation of projects with secretaries in central government and state chief secretaries.
