FIMI tells PMO coal crisis still prevails for non-power consumers
The Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) has written to the Prime Minister’s Office despite the efforts of the Ministry of Coal and Coal India NSE -1.31 % Ltd (CIL), a coal crisis in the country still prevails and continues to affect the profitability of non-power industries.
The federation has requested for resumption of normal coal supplies by Coal India and railway rakes by Railways to non-power companies in sectors like Aluminium, Steel and Cement.
