State-owned Coal India on Tuesday said that fatalities and fatal accidents of its workmen came down to a record low in the calendar year 2022 to twenty deaths. Fatalities hit an all-time low in 2022, falling by nearly 31% compared to 29 recorded in 2021.
Fatal accidents came down to 18 in 2022 from 27 in 2021, the company said in a statement.
