Far flung villages of W Singhbhum illuminated with solar energy
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the villagers living in remote villages of West Singhbhum are now being provided with basic facilities, which they were deprived of for decades. This is possible because of the sensitivity of the government. Now the government and the schemes of the government are also reaching the remote villages. Constant efforts are being made to change the climate of Chaibasa which is under Naxal influence.
Keeping in view the non-availability of electricity facility in police pickets and CRPF camps operating in remote and inaccessible areas in the district, installation of solar energy based off-grid power plant of 25KWp capacity has been done in 13 police pickets and camps.
