Fairfax India former head, Kingfisher Airlines veteran plan regional airline Fly91

The man who set up the India business of Prem Watsa’s Fairfax Group and an aviation veteran from Vijay Mallya’s once five star carrier Kingfisher Airlines are coming together to set up a regional carrier in the country, they said.

The airline, Fly91 (91 for India’s country code) will be promoted by Manoj Chacko, who was the executive vice president at Kingfisher, chief operating officer and CEO, business travel at travel company SOTC. Chacko will also be CEO, Fly91.
