Enthusiastic response to wind-solar hybrid tender surprises experts

BENGALURU: A wind-solar hybrid tender issued by Solar Energy Corporation of India has met with enthusiasm, much to the surprise of industry experts.

The renewable energy ministry’s nodal agency, SECI had issued a 1,200 MW hybrid tender in January, for which there have been five amendments and 15 extensions for bid submission date, according to data from renewable energy consultancy firm Bridge To India (BTI).
