Ensure all Mumbai skywalks are ‘made ideal’, HC tells BMC, other authorities

The Bombay High Court on Monday asked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and other authorities to ensure “all existing skywalks in the city are made ideal, for their best possible utility, so as to achieve the purpose for which they are constructed”.

The court was hearing a PIL raising concerns over the non-availability of a foot-over-bridge (FOB) connecting Bandra (East) railway station towards the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) office end, leading to the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
