Safety of the sources of energy should be a matter of top priority for every department of the government as it has devastating effect on environment and global warming. Incidences such as of fire in coal mines, oil spill in the sea, water accumulation in unused mines should be taken up as a matter of urgency. But incidences reported here are examples of gross neglect.
