Energy Dept directions violated

Even though the Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) authorities did not act on the Energy Department’s instructions and take action against the newly-appointed OPGC Human Resources Vice-President, many new allegations have cropped up against the OPGC authorities of circumventing the rules and regulations while appointing the official.

Earlier, the Odisha Bidyut Mahasangha had demanded not to appoint Rajendra Senapati, former OPTCL Human Resource Director, as OPGC HR Vice-President because of his alleged tainted track record.The Mahasangha alleged that as per the rules and advertisement of OPGC , the candidate for vice-president post must have dom=ne a course equivalent with MBA, which Senapati does not fulfil.
